Despite the significant challenges of our time, the size of the impact investing market grew to USD 1.164 trillion in assets under management, according to the Global Impact Investing Network's report.

The new market size benchmark shows that the industry is evolving, figuring out efficiencies, and delivering on social and environmental impact and financial returns. And yet we still have got a long way to go before achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030 and reaching net zero emissions by 2050. The growing share of social investments calls for better measurement and management of impact performance. We can tempt more mainstream investors to join the movement by showing tangible results alongside the financial return.
